Was William Wordsworth A Romantic Poet Aug 06, 2016 · Active in late eighteenth and first half of the nineteenth century, William Wordsworth was an English poet who, along with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, launched the English Romantic movement in literature and changed the course of English poetry.
